2-WEEK WORK NOTIFICATION
Equipment & Operations Moving
To East Side of Main Courtyard
Monday, December 4th
We were just informed that the City will be performing some street tree trimming along Berry Street in December. Because of this, and due to the shift in the weather and the cost of moving the pedestrian canopy scaffolding, the painting project manager and I have decided it makes better sense to move operations to the Main Courtyard before starting work along Berry Street. As such, they will move all equipment and operations to the east side of the Courtyard starting on Monday, 12/4, weather permitting. The pedestrian canopy scaffolding will remain along the East/Mews elevation until it's moved to the front of the building along Berry Street in late January/early February.
The schedule for all other repairs outlined on the previous update will remain the same. This includes finishing the caulking and sealant repairs along the East/Mews elevation over the next 2 weeks, and beginning repairs at first floor window sills at units 109-113.

**REVISED** SCHEDULE - through 12/8:
IMPORTANT
AS ALWAYS - PLEASE KEEP YOUR WINDOWS CLOSED DURING FACADE REPAIRS:

PROP 65 WARNING POSTED
The products being used to coat the facade and to caulk around the windows are not especially smelly (Sikagard® 550W Elastocolor high performance elastomeric sealant, Sikaflex® 15LM high performance urethane caulking / sealant). HOWEVER, the sealant primer being used around the windows only (Sikaflex® Primer 429) can be whiffy while it is being applied, so if you are sensitive to smells, have asthma or difficulty breathing, we recommend that you keep your windows closed for the duration of the sealant work. You may review all project Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) here or by clicking the link in the right sidebar from within the blog.
PROTECTING YOUR PRIVACY: As with window washing, these repairs will be done off extension swing stages. Residents who are concerned about crews seeing into their units while this needed work is being performed should keep their blinds/drapes closed.
